How It Works
duPont REGISTRY Live auctions are designed to provide the best experience for buyers and sellers alike.
The auction process starts with sellers submitting their cars through the website. We select the most interesting and work with the seller to compile a thorough listing for the vehicle. Auctions typically run for 7 days.

Sell Your Car With Us
Your car will be sold, guaranteed! And you get to keep all of the upside.

The Submission Process
After submitting your vehicle, one of our specialists will contact you to agree on a price and schedule pickup. We will then take state of the art photos of your car, prepare the listing and run an inspection. All this included in a $500 fixed fee.
Once the car is live, the auction will last for 7 days. Remember no matter what happens your price is guaranteed and you keep the upside.
How our Live Auctions Work
Every auction goes live with an informational listing, photo gallery, and additional features that help ensure a great result.
- Each auction has a comment thread where the duPont community can discuss the vehicle and ask questions. Sellers are encouraged to be active participants.
- Potential bidders can use the Contact Us button to ask questions or schedule a viewing.

How Bidding Works
You must register to bid or place bids on duPont REGISTRY Live
- All bids are verified through credit card to ensure the commitment of potential buyers.
- The bid box will indicate the minimum required bid amount.
- For all timed auctions, sniping protection extends the auction clock by one minute each time a bid is placed in the auction's final moments. The auction isn't over until two full minutes have elapsed since the highest bid was placed.
- Live Onsite auctions will be conducted by an auctioneer who can take bids from the room, telephone, and online. These auctions will not be subject to an additional two minutes after the last bid has been placed. The auctioneer will give ample time for all parties to increase their bid.
- We encourage all potential bidders to read the listing and review the entirety of the comment section before placing a bid. It is important that bidders carry out their due diligence to understand all the details of the car and insights offered by members of the community.

The Post-Auction Process
When the auction closes, successful buyers will be notified immediately via email and invoiced the following business day.
Buyers are in general responsible for insurance, shipping, applicable taxes, registration fees, and other costs associated with vehicle ownership. We encourage buyers to take advantage of duPont REGISTRY Live Checkout which will allow them to arrange many aspects of the transaction.
Of course our duPont REGISTRY Live Customer Service team is available to provide assistance and answer any questions during this part of the process.
